The Manufacturing Director will develop and implement manufacturing policies and procedures to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes. They are responsible for planning and directing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and utilization of working labour. They analyse and control departmental expenditures and establish targets in line with budgets. The Manufacturing Director will develop and recommend manufacturing strategies to senior management. Their role will involve supporting and initiating required change to promote a culture of continuous improvement (CI). The role will also see ongoing communications with internal and external customers and provide communication regards manufacturing key measures.
