The Supply Chain Manager is in charge of the process of planning, implementing, and controlling the operations of the supply chain with the purpose to satisfy customer requirements as efficiently as possible. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for controlling all personnel who play an active role on the supply chain. From production workers to stock controllers, the supply chain spans all movement and storage of materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point-of-origin to point-of-consumption. The Supply Chain Manager will usually be responsible for the budgetary aspects of process improvements.
